Nina’s Fresh Green Beans #1

Fresh Green Beans

Bacon

Wash, cut and steam the fresh green beans to your liking.  Put in a serving dish and cover.  Cut bacon into tiny pieces and fry in a saucepan until very crispy.  Remove bacon from pot and drain.  Reserve 4 to 6 tablespoons of the grease. (The reserve grease is just to coat the green beans, not to saturate, so start with a little; you can always use more if needed.)  Just before you sit down to dinner heat up the crease and add green beans and bacon.  Toss gently until heated through and serve.
