Michelle’s Cabbage Salad

Everyone really loves this salad!

3 green onions, sliced including green part

1 package Top Ramen Noodles

½ cup slivered almonds

3 tbsp sunflower seeds

1 head cabbage, shredded like you would for coleslaw 

Crush noodles in package before you open it.  Reserve the seasoning.  Sauté the noodles in 2 tablespoons butter with the sunflower seeds and almonds until golden brown.  Set aside.

 Mix the dressing

3 tbsp vinegar

2 tbsp sugar

½ cup oil

½ tsp seasoned salt

seasoning from noodles

When ready to serve, sprinkle the noodle mixture over the cabbage.  Pour on the dressing and mix well.
